Glenbervie gain Unicef’s RRS level 1 Award

After much hard work and a very successful assessment day the staff and pupils of Glenbervie have received their Level 1 RRS Award.The RRS group now plan to continue with this and look at the next steps to Level 2.

Grand Opening of Harvey Garden

eco 1Harvey Garden reopens after flood damage. East Coast Viners, DIG, Primary 4/5, Garden gang and the Eco Group have all worked hard to make this possible. Many thanks to all the volunteers who made this possible.

Glenbervie receives RRS Recognition of Commitment

 Pupils and staff have been working hard on Unicef’s Rights Respecting Schools Award which is used to embed children’s rights into the ethos and culture of the school. In November the school received their Recognition of Commitment which recognises that Glenbervie is putting the UN Convention on the Rights of the child at the heart of our practice. The school are helping all children to  improve their well-being and realise their potential. Well done to all involved!


SportScotland School Sport Silver Award

school-sportsWe’re delighted to announce that we have gained the ‘Silver Award’ Level in SportScotland’s School Sport Award scheme.

Miss Munro and the SportScotland School Sport Award Committee will continue to implement their action plan as they work towards applying for the Gold Award next session.
